  • Open to engineering students: Practical, hands-on training available.
  • Minimum age: 16 years or older.
  • Identification: Valid bar-coded ID document or passport.
  • Booking: Must book at least one week in advance.
  • No formal qualifications: No specific school qualifications are needed.
  • Payment confirmation: Submit original proof of payment.
  • Learning mindset: A strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Certification: Upon course completion, students receive a certificate.
  • Employment assistance: Graduates are supported through agencies to secure positions, helping them gain the four years of practical experience typically required for a trade test at Indlela (Olifantsfontein).

  • Marking of Material: Techniques for accurately marking materials for cutting and assembly.
  • Calculations: Essential calculations for measurements, angles, and material requirements.
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW): Hands-on training in SMAW techniques for effective welding.

Training Overview

Our training programs are conducted in a workshop environment, lasting a minimum of 15 days, depending on the chosen course. Throughout this period, students will gain practical knowledge that can be immediately applied in real-world scenarios.

Certification and Employment Support

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate and benefit from our employment agency partnerships, which assist in securing job placements. This practical experience is crucial, as individuals typically need four years of hands-on work to qualify for a trade test at Indlela (Olifantsfontein).
